COLLABORATION WITH THE ABADIR ACADEMY

We launched a challenge to the students of the first year of the product design course at the Abadir Academy of Design and Visual Communication in Catania: to think about how to make Xilia’s wall systems interact with the living needs of the near future.
After an initial meeting to present the brief in the historic and hospitable venue, we confidently await the students’ work coordinated by the teacher Caterina Malinconico.
It was a moment to review what was done by great designers and architects such as Adolf Loos, Albini – Gardella – Camus, Ernst May, Angelo Mangiarotti, Joe Colombo, Atelier Bow Wow.
